Is It Time to Repair or Replace Your Roof?

To determine if your roof needs work, look for signs of curled or buckled shingles, missing shingles, shingle granules in the gutters, peeling paint on roof overhangs, dark spots on ceilings, moisture in the insulation, sunlight coming through the roof, etc. If your shingles are fairly new and just a few places need to be fixed, repairs will address the problem. 

Should the damage be more extensive, a full roof replacement may be the solution. The project starts by removing the old roof. We’ll take steps to protect your flower beds and other property while we work. After we install the new roof, we’ll haul away the debris. 

How Long Do Roofs Last?

Typically, roofing shingles last for 20 to 25 years. However, if you have layers of newer shingles installed over older ones, the roof won’t last as long as one that has been fully replaced. Metal roofs are longer-lasting than shingles.

Whatever type of roof you have, we recommend you have it inspected every 5 to 10 years.
