After retiring from Military service and moving to the Greenville area to work for the Dept. of Defense I purchased a home that Sentry Construction had previously replaced the roof on. "Kyle and Nate were extremely knowledgeable & processional during their roof inspection. I had hail damage, however, algae were also the culprit in my roof leak. My insurance adjuster who wanted to deny my claim because of the algae was convinced by Kyle that hail damage was part of the roof deterioration. Kyle went to bat for me and convinced the adjuster to agree to pay half of the claim, which was SO MUCH better than a denial which I would have gotten if he was not here! As for the actual roofers, they worked fast in removing a single layer of shingles from my house and a double layer from my detached garage. It took approximately one and one-half days to complete the whole project. Throughout both days, Kyle would arrive at my house to check on the roofer's progress, which helped me feel confident in their workmanship. The roofers were hard workers and professional installers. Sentry's price was extremely competitive and beat out two other bids I had gotten. They are local and easy to contact. Even after hours, I was able to text Kyle with any questions or concerns I had. Never once did he make me feel I was disturbing him. To top it off the roof is beautiful and no more leaks! Thank you Sentry for being such an upstanding company. But, what I really appreciated is how they worked with my wife and me through the whole process and helped us navigate everything that is required with insurance. At the beginning of the process, they were there with the insurance company’s roof inspector to ensure the inspection was fair. They then worked with the insurance to get the pricing and payment correct. Lastly, they made sure that all the damage caused by storms was corrected. We had new screens put on the windows, new gutters installed, and water-stained ceilings inside the house repainted, all in addition to the new roof.
